Use the formula for pressure to determine the weight of a box that creates a pressure of 1,065 N/cm2 when resting on a 17.0-cm2 surface.

weight = 18,105 N
weight = 62.65 N
weight = 0.0160 N
weight = 10,400 N

Force /Area = Pressure
Force = Pressure * Area
Force = 1065 * 17 = 18105 N

weight = 18105 N

I hope this helps!

Answer: The weight of the box is 18105 N.

Explanation: As we know pressure is force per unit area and force is mass times acceleration which is applied due to the weight of the body.

pressure=(force)/(area)

Force=mass* acceleration

Pressure =
1065 Ncm^-^2

Area=
17.0 cm^2

1065 Ncm^-^2=(weight)/(17.0 cm^2)

weight= 18105N
