The equation for the three consecutive numbers will be x, x+1, x+2 = 306. First, combine the like terms 3x+3 = 306 then subtract 3 from each side leaving 3x=303 and finally divide both sides by 3 which leaves you with 101. The 3 consecutive terms are 101, 102, and 103.
