Mute Swans are one of the heaviest flying birds and consume up to 8 pounds of vegetation each day. How will the migration of Mute Swans into an area most likely affect the birds native to that area?

Other birds that are native to the vicinity might run out of food or habitat because of these Mute Swans. If these swans really do eat 8 pounds of vegetation each day; imagine what would be left for the other birds.
