Which of the following functions has a zero at x=-2

A. f(x)=(x+2)^2 -5
B. f(x)=x^2 -6x+8
C. f(x)=(x-2)^2 +1
D. f(x)=x(x+2)

Plug in -2 for x for every function and set every function to 0. If it equals 0 then there's a "zero" at x=-2

Example A: 0 = (-2+2)^2 - 5 = 0 - 5 = -5 <-- This does not = 0 so it's not the answer
