I really need help... I am supposed to do a project on a human rights issue in Of Mice and Men. So I was going to do right of equality but my teacher said it was too broad and she said I couldn't do racial issues because it has nothing to do with the book. Even though the character crooks is treated differently because of his skin color. But i guess she thinks thats not in the book. Idk what to do now. any ideas?

you can do it about mental illness and how it's became more understood and accepted as time has gone on. That's what i recently did for mine, my class read that book a month ago.

You could do the human rights of mentally challenged people, or how migrant workers at the time were treated.
