In foreign policy, relations between countries are made through diplomacy, that is, through dialogue among nations. Unfortunately, at times, countries resort to military force, through wars or interventions in other countries. This usually occurs when diplomacy does not work or when there is some particular interest. The US has already made several interventions throughout history.
