If g is any real number, then g^3 > 0.

Which of the following is a counterexample to the assertion above?

Any negative number will result in a value less than 0. If g were being squared, then negative values would not be possible because any negative multiplied by itself is positive, but a negative * a negative * a negative (cubed) will still be negative.
