If you are finding the probability of the marbles being drawn that are pink are orange you first find the total:
28.
Then you find the the amount of marbles that are either pink or orange; in this case its
17.
Finally you take the amount of pink and orange marbles and divde it by the total amount
17+7+4= 28
Pink or orange marbles
17+7= 24
Probability
28/28=.857
or
86%
chance that a marble being drawn is pink or orange
