It is important for Susan B. Anthony to express herself in the most direct and clear tone, women weren´t really valorated at that time, and they couldn´t vote, one of the arguments was certainly their intelligence, and she was doing no wrong by voting, she wanted to appeal and persuade a mostly man audience that didn´t want her to vote to allow all women to vote.
