Direction of the unit factor (-3,2)
u = u₁.i +u₂.j =-3i +2j
1- 1st find the magnitude of u

Magnitude of u --> II u II = √[(-3)² +(2)²]===> II u II = √13

To find the unit vector u, you divide vector u by the magnitude

Unit vector = u/√13, but u = u₁.i +u₂.j =-3i +2j

Then Unit vector = (-3i + 2j)/ √13

Unit vector -3i/√13 +2j/√13
