7/10 because the common denominator of 2 and 5 is 10. So u multiply 1/2 by 5 and get 5/10. Then u multiply 1/5 by 2 and you would get 2/10. Then you would add them together 2/10 + 5/10 and get 7/10

The answer is 7/10 the common demontior is 10 so the numbers change to 2/10 + 5/10 witch equals 7/10
