Question A asks for the total amount the theater group paid for the supplies. To find this, you simply add all the expenses together:

$145.86 + $52.91 + $17.63 = $216.40

Question B asks what percent of the total cost were hardware. To find this, you take the total amount paid, and divide it by how much money was put towards hardware ($17.63):

216.40 / 17.63 = 12.27%

Question C asks for the percentage of money that was put towards hardware AND painting. To find this, use the same method as done in Question B, only this time, add the cost of painting and hardware, and then divide. Try this one out yourself to ensure you've got it.

Hope this helps!
