well 1 ton = 2000 pounds and 1/4 of 2000 is 500 so 3/4 of 2000 is 1500
the answer is 1,500 lbs.

The answer is 1500 pound because 1 ton = 2,000 pounds. 1/4 of a ton = 500 pounds. So 3/4 tons = 500*3 =1500 pounds.
