Marissa and Kendra are 2 years apart in age. Their ages are two consecutive odd integers. Kendra is the younger of the two. If Marissa's age is added to twice Kendra's age, the result is 35. How old is each girl?

m=Marissa's age
k=Kendra's age

k+2=m

m+2k=35
(k+2) + 2k=35
3k+2=35
3k=33
k=11

m=k+2
m=11+2
m=13
