How many solutions does the following equation have?

-17(y-2)=-17y+64
Never ending?
One solution?
No solution?

-17(y - 2) = -17y + 64
Distribute the -17
-17y + 34 = -17y + 64
Add 17y to both sides
34 = 64
Once the variables cancel, and you end up with a FALSE statement, this means there are NO SOLUTIONS.
