Pythagorean theorem is for right triangles, where a, b, and c are lengths of the triangle: a²+b²=c²
Does 3²+15²=17²? If the answer is yes, it's a right triangle
How about 15²+17²=3²? Nope. Not a right triangle.
How about 3²+17²=15²? Nope.
