Make the two linear equations equal to each other. (2x-3=x+2)
solve for x (x=5)
plug in x for one of the equations (y=2(5)-3)
solve for y (y=7)
the solution is point (5,7)

Or you can graph the two equations separately and the answer is where they intersect.

Use these steps to graph the linear equations:

Find the y intercept(solve for y)

graph the y intercept

plug in x values for the equation, and get y

then put the point that you get\

repeat this for the other equation

you'll get the same answer, (5,7)
