The domain is the set of x or input values that would satisfy the function. Any value of x that would give us a negative square root must be excluded from the domain. To do this, we would equate the terms inside the square root as shown below


\begin{gathered} x\text{ - 3}\ge0 \\ x\ge0\text{ + 3} \\ x\ge3 \end{gathered}

All values of x greater than or equal to 3 would be in the domain. All values of x lesser than 3 would be excluded because they would give the square root of a negative number.

Thus, domain is

The domain is between the lowest value of x on the left and the highest value of x on the right

Lowest value on the left = 3

highest value of x on the right is infinity(greater than or equal to 3

Domain is between 3 and infinity
