Rosario is rolling a six-sided number cube. Rosario rolls the number cube twice. What is the probability that Rosario gets the number one twice in a row?

Since these probabilities are independent of each other you would mulitiply the individual probabilities.
First Roll: P(1) = 1/6
Second Roll: P(1) = 1/6
(1/6) * (1/6) = 1/36

It's a conditional probability

P( getting a given number AND getting again the same number)

P(of getting any number) =1/6
P(of getting once again the same number) 1/6 x 1/6 = 1/36
