You would do 9xh and 9x11 and the answer would be 9h-99

To solve for this, you are using the distributive property, in which you multiply the outside number of a parenthesis by all inside numbers.
Your expression should be broken down like this:
9(h-11)
9(h) + 9(-11)
9h - 99.
