We would need to add 90+10 first instead of 10+4.8.

Explanation:

When evaluating expressions, we follow the order of operations:

P (parentheses); E (exponents); M/D (multiplication/division from left to right); and A/S (addition/subtraction from left to right). The first thing we look for is parentheses.

When we use the associative property as Morgan did to rearrange the problem, this changes the order we begin in. It does not, however, change the answer.
