(31.4/3.14)/2=5 because π=circumference/diameter

circumference is Diameter * 3.14
so D * 3.14 = 31.4
31.4 / 3.14 = 10 so the diameter is 10.
the radius is half of the diameter so radius = 5 centimeters.
