It deceased. Barbians invaded the land. because when an empire gets too large, there are less soldiers to cover each area. And the ruler of the empire has a harder time controlling all of the land. Thus, other empires encase and take over. Hope this helps!!!:)

The roman empire fell because it became too big, invasions by Barbarian tribes, e
conomic troubles, overreliance on slave labor, and more.
