The given here is the perimeter of the rectangle which is 36 in. The formula for a rectangle's perimeter is P(rectangle) = 2 ( w + h ) or P(rectangle) = w + w + h +h

The answer here is 7 x 11.

Check the answer by substituting.
w=7
h=11

36 in = 2 (w + h)
36 in = 2(7)+2(11)
36 in = 14 + 22
36 in = 36
