Problem

Describe how you could use inverse operations to solve the equation sqrtx = 4

Solution

For this case we have this:

\sqrt[]{x}=4

-The inverse operation of the square root is the exponentiation with an exponent of 2 so we can do this:

(\sqrt[]{x})^2=4^2

then we have this:

x = 16

And that would be the answer for this case
