the author claims that school lunches are a major contribution to child obesity. Schools make an effort to provide a balanced, nutritional menu. In your opinion, who is to blame for childhood obesity? Compose an argumentative essay. Use details from the text, your experience with school lunches, and what you eat outside of school to support your claim.

Answer and Explanation:

Childhood obesity is a result of the lack of education that American society has faced for years. This causes parents to be totally oblivious to the appropriate food that their children should eat, stimulating their diet with exorbitant amounts of sugar and fat, in addition to the large number of processed foods that children eat. In addition to the family, schools should encourage quality food education for children and not just a menu with balanced nutritional options. In other words, it is necessary to educate children about obesity in order to be able to fight it.
