This is what is known as a series circuit. People advise to not use these and use the much more useful parallel circuits, which have resistors on separate paths.
I hope this helps!

Answer:

A series circuit

Step-by-step explanation:

Resistors can be connected in two different configurations:

- Series: all resistors are connected along the same path. In this case, the current flowing through each resistor is the same, while the potential difference across each resistor is different. The total resistance of the circuit for resistor in series is given by

R_T = R_1 + R_2 + ...

- Parallel: each resistor is connected to the same batter through a different branch. In this case, the potential difference across each resistor is the same, while the current flowing through each resistor is different. The total resistance of the circuit for resistors in parallel is given by

(1)/(R_T)=(1)/(R_1)+(1)/(R_2)+...

In this problem, we have resistors all connected in the same path, so they are connected in a series configuration.
