This is a linear function y=mx + b
We know the slope m =-7/3 (given) & we know the value of x & y , given by the point (-2, 5). Plug into y=mx+b
5=-7/3(-2) + b===> 5=14/3 + b ===> & b= 1/3
& the final equation is : y=-7/3.x +1/3

slope of -7/3
goes through the point (-2,5)
y = mx + b
5 = -7/3(-2) + b
5 = 14/3 + b
b= 5 - 14/3
b = 15/3 - 14/3
b = 1/3
equation of line
y = -7/3x + 1/3
hope it helps
