Look at the graph. How do the Union and Confederate social costs compare?

Fewer Confederate men died from disease than Union men, but the Union had fewer deaths from wounds than the Confederacy.
Fewer Union men were wounded than Confederate men, but the Confederacy had more deaths than the Union.
More Confederate men died of disease than from wounds, but the Union had a smaller number of dead from disease than from wounds.
More Union men died than Confederate men, but the Union had more total forces than the Confederacy.

The social costs were less to the confederacy because they hand less deaths than the union. the union had more deaths and wounded in every category than the confederacy.

The correct answer is D. More Union men died than Confederate men, but the Union had more total forces than the Confederacy.

Step-by-step explanation:

The Union and the Confederate were the two sides that fought during the Americal Civil War fro 1861 to 1865, this war that was the result of disputes about the slavery and the differences between the North States (Union) and the South States (Confederate). This war had multiple effects including the social costs that are shown in the graphic, in which the total costs are related to the total forces, the deaths from wounds, the deaths from disease, the number of people wounded, the total deaths and the total wounded and dead. In the case of the total deaths in the Union, 359,528 people died while in the Confederate 258,000 people died, which means the number of total deaths in the Union was higher. Similarly, in the case of the total forces, the Union had more forces ( 1.556,678) than the Confederate (1.082,119). This implies one of the ways in which the social cost of both sides compares is that the Union had more forces but also more total deaths than the Confederacy or that "more Union men died than Confederate men, but the Union had more total forces than the Confederacy".
