1/2= 0.5
1/4= 0.25
0.5/0.25=2,
so the answer is 2mph

From here, we can do 2 things: divide to get 2miles/hour or you can see that you can reduce the fraction (.5/2=.25 and .25/.25=1). So again we get 2/1 miles per hour OR 2 mph
