To be honest, since x and 82 are along the same straight line, they must have to sum to 180 so:
x = 180 - 82 and if you subtract 180 from 82 that will get you to the total of 98 so:
x = 92

Since x and 82° lie along the same straight line, they must sum to 180° so:
x=180-82
x=98°
