x + 3y = -6

3y = -x - 6; divide by 3

(-1)/(3) x - 2; you can the y-intercept is -2 or (0, -2)

Now to find where the graph cross the x-axis at y=0

(-1)/(3) x - 2; move the 2 to the other side

2 =
(-1)/(3) x ; multiply by -3
