Find the coordinates for the vertex of the graph of the function y=3x^2-12x+12.

The vertex is at the point where velocity is equal to zero.

dy/dx=6x-12

6x-12=0

6x=12

x=2

y(2)=0 so the vertex is at the point (2,0)
