The form of the standard notation is

a*10^n

Where a is a number between 1 and 10

n is an integer

At first, we will multiply 1.3 by 1002

We can do the multiplication as

\begin{gathered} 102=(100+2) \\ 1.3(100+2)=1.3*100+1.3*2 \\ 1.3*102=130+2.6=132.6 \end{gathered}

Now, we will move the decimal point 2 places to the left and multiply the number by 10^2

132.6=1.32*10^2

The answer in the form of the standard notation is

1.32*10^2
