A gas occupies a volume of 2.4l at 14.1kPa. What volume will the gas occupy at 84.6kPa?

You plug this into the ideal gas law, Pv=nrt, (pressure*volume=moles*gas constant*Temperature) because every thing except volume and pressure remain the same, 2.4*14.1=84.6*V. solve for v, and you get .4 L.
