If this is an isosceles triangle, and because of the fact that the sum of angles of any triangle must sum to 180°
(180-40)/2=70°

Well, each is one is 40, subtract it from 180 then divide it by to because 180 is the total degrees of a triangle and there are three angles so the last two angle measures would be 70.
