a_(0)=3

r=common ratio: 12/6=2; 6/3=2

r=2,
a_(n)=
2^(n-1)*3

plug in 12 for n:

a_(12)=
2^(12-1)*3

a_(12)=
2^(11)*3

a_(12)=2048*3

a_(12)=6144

The twelfth term in the sequence is 6144
