Fourt term: 14

Third term: 14 + 8 = 22

Second term: 22 + 8 = 30

First term: 30 + 8 = 38

Then you can find any term as the previous term minus 8.

=> An = A(n-1) - 8, and A1 = 38.

That is the option D.
