How to receive salvation and forgiveness of sins:

Since the fall humanity has been separated from God. Because of our sins, we were no longer able to fellowship with God freely, as was originally meant, and had to suffer the punishment of eternal disunion from God. Seeing this God sent his son Jesus as a sacrifice to pay the price of our sins. This action reveals the general mercy and love of God for mankind. God is willing to give humanity a second chance and an opportunity to fellowship with him. All anyone has to do is joyfully receive God’s gift of redemption and they will be open to his overabundant love and mercy. By accepting Christianity and allowing Jesus Christ to become our savior, we are telling God that we are willing to forgo all unrighteousness, and he in turn will make us heirs to his kingdom so we can dwell jubilantly in his presence for eternity.

But, there is a sin that Jesus won't forgive. The Bible states when someone blasphemes God they are endangered to go to hell. Sinning without repent will bring you further away from God. To first receive forgiveness you have to believe in Jesus' death and resurrection and God. He will definitely welcome you as His child! For salvation, you will need to commit to reading, understanding, and applying the Bible to your life. You should also get baptized to show you are a new person in Jesus Christ. Having a healthy Bible time every day will also help the salvation stick.
