if a/4=2/3

a=8/3 then:

(a-4)/4 is

(8/3-4)/4

(8/3-12/3)/4

(-4/3)/4

-4/12

-1/3

a/4=2/3
times both sides by 4
a=8/3


(a-4)/4=((8/3)-4)/4=((8/3)-(12/3))/4=(-4/3)/4=-1/3

answer is 2nd option
