Since there are twelve (12) months in a year, you multiply thirty-five dollars ($35) by twelve (12).
35 * 12 = 420
$420 is how much he will have by the
end
of the year.

Luke will sve $420.
$35 a month multiplied by the 12 months in the year (35x12)=420
