A free-trade zone is a specific class of special economic zone. The entry into force of the Association Agreement in 2004 improved conditions for trade between the EU and Egypt. Since 2004, EU-Egypt bilateral trade has more than doubled and reached its highest level ever in 2016. When you are in a free trade zone you can find some great deals on products because no one is taxing them.
