Step one: turn both percentages into a decimal by putting the decimal point over to the left by two. 25% become .25 and 10% becomes .10
Step two: you need to take 25% off $239.99 so multiply $239.99 by .25 . Now write down the total - $47.99 (that's how much money you need to take off the original price. Subtract $239.99 and $47.99 = $192
Step three: Baron is able to take another 10% off. Multiply to take off. $192 x .10 = 19.2 . Subtract $19.2 from $192
Your answer : $172.8 then round to the nearest dollar $173
