The first equation represents how many hours the bus has traveled

I chose A because the initial distance is 300 and you have to find how long it takes to reach a distance (left) of 30 km and the rate is already a given. Since you are getting closer to the destination the distance decreases.

The answer is A I believe because...
You can't have a negative hour and you're trying to figure out what H is solely, so you want to subtract not add.
