From the Pythagorean Theorem
80^2 = 48^2 + leg^2
leg^2 = 80^2 -48^2
leg^2 = 6,400 - 2,304
leg^2 = 4,096
leg = 64

using the equation a^2+b^2=c^2, you can figure out that the other leg is 64 units
