Please Help!! Molly's Milk Company wants to repaint the barrels in which the milk is stored. The workers need to know how much area they will be painting so that they can order the correct amount of paint. If a milk barrel is 8 feet tall with a radius of 8 feet, what is the surface area of one barrel?

First find the circumference of the top of the barrel using the rule 2times Pi times r
Then find the area of the top of the barrel using Pi times radius squared (to the power of 2)
Multiply by two (top and bottom of the barrel)
And then using the circumference you found earlier multiply it by 8 (are of the curved surface of a barrel)
You should have two results and then add them together.
Hope this helps!
