Sara and James are married and file taxes jointly. They both work outside the home. Sara works as an independent contractor and James is employed by a company. Sara tells James not to worry about taxes for her income from contracting, since the government will withhold the appropriate amount from James' paycheck. Is Sara correct? Why?

No because at the end of the day, taxes are required and failing to provide the tax will result in a fine/jail time.
