A landowner wishes to construct a fence around a small section of her property. The fence is rectangular and is (3√5)/√7 meters wide and (2√3)/√5 meters long. What is the exact perimeter of the fence? (Recall that the perimeter is the sum of each individual side of a shape.)

2 * 3 sqrt5 2 * 2 sqrt3
-------------- + --------------
sqrt7 sqrt5

Now multiply the first fraction by sqrt7 / sqrt7 and the second by sqrt5 / sqrt5

= 6 sqrt35 4 sqrt15
------------ + -----------
7 5

So it C.

Answer:

The correct answer is option C

Explanation:

The perimeter of a rectangular track is

2 L + 2 W\\

Where L is the length of the rectangular track

W is the width of the rectangular track

Substituting the given values of L and W in above equation, we get -

2 ((2√(3) )/(√(5) ))  + 2((3√(5) )/(√(7) ))\\= ((4√(3) )/(√(5) ))  + ((6√(5) )/(√(7) ))\\

((4√(3) )/(√(5) )) *(√(5))/(√(5))    + ((6√(5) )/(√(7) ))*(√(7))/(√(7))\\= ((4√(15) )/(5 )) + ((6√(35) )/(7) })
