Hope researches the impact of one variable on another. She graphs the data from her research and sees that the data forms a shape that is similar to an arch. What conclusion can Hope draw from her graph?

Since the graph displays a pattern that is in a curved shape, she can conclude that an association is present among the variables. On the other hand, since the relationship is not linear, no correlation is present. The pattern reveals that as a variable change, the other would also change in the same exact manner. In this instance, Hope cannot draw to a close that a causal relationship is present.

Hi

The Answer to this question is:

The graph shows a pattern that is an arch shape, Hope can conclude that there is an association between the variables. However, because the relationship is not linear, there is no correlation. The pattern shows that as one variable changes, the other variable changes in the same way.

Hope this Helps!
