1. The area of a parallelogram is calculated by multiplying the base by the height. 35*38=1330 in^2
2. The area of a triangle is 1/2 of the base multiplied by the height. 1/2*6.9*4=13.8 cm^2
3. A kite is made up of 2 triangles that are congruent. So, we will multiply the base of a triangle by its height. We will not multiply it by 1/2 because we need the area of two triangles. 30*2=60 ft^2
